The GT Lab Lecture Series Continues in Spring 2025

Press release 3.3.2025

The lecture series hosted by the GT Lab returns this spring at Åbo Akademi, offering insightful discussions on sustainability, innovation, and the green transition. The series brings together experts from academia, industry, and public leadership to share knowledge and ideas on shaping a more sustainable future in the maritime industry.

This spring, we are hosting four lectures, and we are proud to have the mayor Minna Arve kick off the series in March. The lectures are open to all and will be held in English in a hybrid format, allowing participation both on-site at Aurum’s lecture hall Argentum (Henrikinkatu 2, 20500 Turku) and online via Microsoft Teams.

“Meyer Turku is strongly committed to the City of Turku’s climate efforts, and we are honored to have Mayor Arve open our spring lecture series. Achieving the carbon neutrality goals of both the city and the shipyard requires strong and multidisciplinary collaboration, which the GT Lab lecture series highlights and brings to the forefront.”
